Financial Aid for Graduate School

Posted by Sandra Wright

financial aid for graduate school
How does financial aid work for Graduate School?

Are scholarships available? If so, how can I get them? How about TA-ing or some other work study programs?

Each program is different. Often times scholarships, fellowships/assistantships are awarded primarily based on academic merit (GPA and GRE scores), although sometimes they are awarded based on your entire application package. Sometimes universities require that you apply separately for these awards, sometimes there are no separate applications necessary. There may be an earlier deadline for your application if you wish to be considered for these awards. You’ll have to check out each program’s details, as they all vary. Most have this info on their websites.

You should also check out scholarships offered by other organizations and your community. Fastweb.com is pretty good.

Bully: Scholarship Edition – Halloween And The Big Prank

Posted by Sandra Wright

I can’t even express how much I love this game. It’s hilarious. This play is strictly for fun, so don’t be too harsh. First – plant the Kick Me sign on a student. Second – egg three students. Third – plant the Volcano 4000 near some students. Fourth – stink bomb three students. Fifth – throw itching powder at three students. The Big Prank – light a bag of dog poo in front of the Teacher’s Lounge. I was laughing so hard at the part where Gary gives the dog the meat that I almost couldn’t continue. =D Playlist for Bully: Scholarship Edition: www.youtube.com

Bully: Scholarship Edition – Complete Mayhem

Posted by Sandra Wright

This is it, ladies and gentlemen, the battle before the final showdown between hero and villain. To correspond with the Final Showdown video, but also because it feels right, I’m using the school uniform. I tried to edit down the amount of load times as much as I could to make it flow better. This was played for fun, so don’t judge too harshly. Playlist for Bully: Scholarship Edition: www.youtube.com

I just entered for a scholarship, and I thought that I had everything spelled correctly (spell check, duh), but as it turns out, I spelled metonymy instead of monotony twice. Metonymy is a real word, but since the words are not similar at all, how much do you think it will affect my chances of winning if my ideas are strong? I know that it supposedly states that I am lazy, but if anyone who has won a scholarship before could tell me, that would be great. Thanks!

Bully: Scholarship Edition – Boxing Challenge

Posted by Sandra Wright

This is the final mission of chapter 2, and it includes a boss fight with Derby, the leader of the prep clique. As usual, great dialogue, and an abundance of snobbery. Derby blocks a lot in the boss fight, so it’s helpful to slingshot him into submission. This was played strictly for fun, so please don’t judge too harshly.
