Does an estimate Grant letter from college accurate ?
I just got a letter from my college which give me an estimate amount of grants that I will be receiving from the government.
Does an estimate letter like this from the college usually accurate in term of whether or not you “actually” going to get the fund later on ?
I’m kinda worry because now they required me to submit all of my parents and mine 2008 tax return form, I sure hope they are not second thought my Fafsa application or something =/
Assuming that the stuff your tax forms match the stuff you entered into FAFSA, (i.e. you didn’t lie) that estimate will be accurate. However, if those forms don’t match then you will need to make corrections to your FAFSA and then they will adjust your aid accordingly.
